Starbucks Limited Edition Eco Packaging
Coffee is a great way to feel refreshed and make your body feel good in the morning (or jittery!), but if you aren’t careful, your caffeine addiction may be doing more harm than you think to environment. Paper cups and excess packaging are certainly not eco-friendly. Using a reusable canteen is the way to go to fuel up on morning cup of joe and cut back on wasting materials.
Starbucks is going the eco route with their new Special Edition packaging to minimize material used. Labeled, “Less is More” on the cardboard box, “the parcel contains a tiny round mug designed to be filled with the full-bodied hot beverage, as well as three types of the coffee house’s favorite grounds. The four items are enveloped in a simple corrugated carton that can be effectively assembled by person with no adhesives necessary.”
The packaging is both cost-efficient and eco-friendly. Think about bringing one of the Limited Editions into work (or keep it all to yourself) while they last! Way to go Starbucks!
